In June & July the dunes are ablaze with the yellow blooms of Lupine and the purple hue of the Foxglove - a visual spectacle. The dunes abound with pine trees - making it the ideal home for white-tailed deer and other wildlife.

Bring a sweatshirt or jacket, even in the summer it can be a little cool. The Beach & Dunes ride is best in the morning when there is a chance of less wind. For this ride, children must be at least eight years old. There is no riding double or lead lines for this ride. If your child is under age 8, we recommend the Ranch & Rainforest ride.
