Hawk's Rest Ranch is a 5th generation family owned and operated establishment. The trail rides and stables have been in operation since 1992. We are open year-around, weekends and holidays with reservations.

The owner, Russ Walker, has been an avid horseman his entire life. From parades with his silver saddles astride the black and white pinto stallion "War Wind" to the re-creation of the Buffalo Bill Wild West show touring across the Northwest in the 1970's and 1980's. He trained the bay and white pinto stallion "Wildfire" (seen with his son, Brent, in the photo to the left) to perform over 50 tricks, including to brave performing in a ring of fire. He taught himself to trick ride as seen in circus' and Hollywood westerns. His children have been involved with these projects as well, bringing a true sense of family togetherness.
